987.1 2.7 6 speed / PASM Query

Been searching for exact confirmation of this but cannot find anything that is 100%.

Can anyone tell me if the 6 speed 'box on the 987.1 2.7 was tied in to the PASM option? Could a 6 speed be specced without PASM, and could PASM be specced without a 6 speed box?

I have seen a gen 1 2.7 online which claims to have a 6 speed box, but the dash has no PASM button. Can't see the top of the gear knob clearly. I was under the impression that the two options came together but if this car is advertised correctly, that can't be true.

PASM was an option on 2.7, 2.9 and 3.4 Cayman variants afaik

I have the brochure for that model at home, I'll look it up and let you know. I thought they were stand alone options but need to check to be sure
