Liverpool to Manchester M62/M602

Anyone drive this route of a weekday morning, and return at night?
Whats the traffic like around 730am and 5pm?

M60/M602 interchnage is a mare at peak times although mainly for people picking up the M60. As you are going straight onto the M602 then after you get past the usual pre-junction lane changing queues then you should be OK.

Once you get to the end of the 602 it will be queues all the way. I would factor in 1 - 1.5 hours by car depending which part of Manchester you are ending up at.

Perhaps the train is a better shout?? (Can't believe I just said that )

I would be doing J7 M62 to J2 M602.

Somtimes it can take 30 mins, other times 1.5 hours. Not a stretch of road i'd enjoy driving at those times, as it seems like almost every day there's an accident / road works / bad weather causing traffic issues.
