As stated, I'm in a feck-it mood and thinking of the full setup.

Ideally rather than shop around and research of ages, I'm looking for a complete setup - seat, wheel, pedals. Monitor included would be cool but I already have something good enough for that. Budget around £1K but I would rather spend around £500.

What's a good system? What are you guys running?

Yes, thinking of the ideal Gran Turismo setup for the first time as I'm sick of being disadvantaged on control sticks.

Not sure what wheels are compatible with the PS4, but there really isn't a decent racing game out for it yet, so it's not the system I'd be looking at going for, Project Cars keeps getting delayed and I'd guess that Gran Turismo will be a while off yet. I'd recommend a PC and one of the numerous sims available, plenty of choice of wheels there too.

Those look pretty cool. If you are dead set on it being for a ps4 then I would probably wait a bit until the next wheel "standard" is set. In the past it has been the g27 but now it seems that this isn't supported any longer.

There are some really nice wheels available but at the prices they are asking for some of them it would be a real shame to buy one that was only partially supported and have an expensive ornament.

I can recommend GT Omega for a rig: http://www.gtomegaracing.com

Very happy with mine – similar to: http://www.gtomegaracing.com/gt-omega-pro-racing-s... and its been faultless this past 12ms with daily use.

I use it with a Thrustmaster T500 wheel and pedals

Thrustmaster T300 is apparently compatible with PC, PS3 and PS4. Is that right?

Only 2 pedals though, and I'm willing to bet GT7 will allow for manual gearboxes and heel-n-toe.

That looks damn good for the money and configurability. Liking the option of the keyboard and mouse mount. I could play WOT on that too... Looks a bit flimsy though. Does the screen wobble around when things get frantic?

The Rig is not flimsy at all - very little movement in the wheel deck - and no noticeable movement when in use. I don't use the keyboard mount.

If you look at the pictures you will see that the monitor stand is separate from the rig - so it won't move around, because it stands on its own feet on the floor i.e not connected to any part of the rig.

I think this: http://www.gtomegaracing.com/gt-omega-pro-racing-s... is good value - considering this does include the separate single monitor stand.

Only issue is stock levels - you might have to wait a few weeks for it.

My pre-order was delayed - but customer service was excellent.

Has there been any update on what wheels will work for the ps4?

Thrustmaster T300:-

"COMPATIBILITY

PC compatible
Official licensed PS4™ / PS3™ with automatic recognition by the PS4™ system and PS4™/PS3™ sliding switch for optimum compatibility on both systems"

Looks like the one.

It's basically an exclusive deal with thrustmaster from what I've seen.
