i cant open my computer on XP

Help!

For some reason xp wont let me open my computer it keeps brining up a windows explorer error!, Then a microsoft send error window pops up ive sent the error but they cant help!

Im a uni student i need my laptop can anyone help me!

What have you installed recently.

Have you tried starting the PC in safe mode.

Have you tried recovering to the last known good configuration (recovery options should be displayed at boot up).

trying repearedly hitting the F8 key as the pooter boots up. Shoild get you a list of options. Use the arrow keys to select safe mode. If it comes up ok, try rebooting again. If not try using the last known good configuration.
