Selling to webuyanycar
Discussion
Hi, I'm a new user and didn't really know where to post this, so I hope it's in the right place.
I'm selling my car to a "webuyanycar" type company, and I'm wondering how much info/documentation I am obliged to give them. I've told them the MOT has expired, but am I legally required to tell them that it actually failed its MOT test, and give them the failure certificate? They really ought to guess that anyway, but you never know.
It's only a few hundred quid, and I don't want to reduce the value even further if I don't need to. But I also don't want to break the law, or end up having to give their money back when they do a history check.
Grateful for any advice.
