Had an interesting problem over the last few days - a few different fault codes on the air suspension and the heated seats being slow to come on

Then I noticed the red battery warning light a few times (start engine)

Turns out the main battery (under the passenger seat) was past its best (10 volts so a cell out) - I guess these cars are clever and shunt enough juice from the back-up battery in the boot to still start the car.

I was expecting a massive bill when I saw the very large 110 amp hour battery but I got a good make, 4 year warranty one locally for £120 all in with the VAT, which is not too bad?

Do you have the aux battery in the boot?

I've not seen many non 03 MY cars with this option.
