2004 996 C4S Sports Exhaust

Hi I'm after fitting a sports exhaust system on my 2004 996 C4S I'm looking at spending around a grand. I've looked at the design tec systems with the switchable valves does anybody know if there good ? or to look for something else. Is there any other good systems that will offer a good quality sports sound.

Any suggestions would be most welcome

I have Carnewal mufflers on my 993, and a friend has them on his 996.1. They're done on an exchange basis which is good as you can try and return them if you don't like them. Needless to say we didn't and are both very happy - and as far as VFM goes I think they're pretty unbeatable, EUR495 inc shipping and tax
