black wheels

Is it ok to use acidy based wheel cleaners like auto glym alloy wheel cleaner on black wheels or will it totally shag them up?

Have stopped using the acid based cleaners - having used them for 12 months or so they knackered the wheels on my Alpha. I used it once on the elise and they made the brake calipers fizz!

I now use it to clean the chain on my mountain bike instead of Muck-Off degreaser.

Try "Wonder Wheels"...it works very well but like any cleaner, should be thoroughly washed off

I would not be surprised if a sudden downpour dissolved a LOTUS!
