Amp & Speaker hire for a party

Hi all,

I need to hire an amp / speaker & sub set-up for a party for about 80 people in a room with a high ceiling (I'm getting dimensions) I was going to use my Cyrus Pre/Power amps and some floor-standers but they just wont cut it.

I've found packages between £100 and £250, but I just think they look like the type of set-up that'll bleed ears after a while with too much treble and nasty speakers.

How can I get reasonable quality kit from somewhere? I've no idea of brands e.t.c. to look for in this world. I'd prefer not to spend too much over £250 to be honest, but if it's worth it I will consider it.

It's just to play music from a laptop

Google something like "Bose L1 Hire" get a tower and bass bin, job done nice and simple
