Aircraft Incident - Inverness Airport

Highlands and Islands Police said:

At around 1015 hours on Monday 19th January, emergency services attended Inverness airport following reports of an aircraft having left the runway after landing.
Police Scotland can confirm that all 48 passengers and 4 crew left the aircraft safely and no-one was injured.
Highland and Islands Airport Ltd advise all passengers to travel to the airport and check-in as normal for any afternoon flights.
An investigation into the circumstances of this incident is being carried out by the Air Accident Investigation Branch.

We had an aircraft heading that way today and the winds weren't strong. Was about 20kt at height.

Maybe not then.

We had the SF340 slide off the runway at Stornoway a few weeks ago.

Seemingly it landed safely after flying from Manchester. It was when it was taxiing to the stand it slid onto the grass. Airport reopened mid afternoon according to the press. No noticeable wind and other aircraft before it managed the taxi without problems.
