Lower Radio Panel without the switch holes

Hi,

So I've really struggled with my lower radio panel (early type with 3 push buttons), the interlocking metal bits never quite work properly.

Does anyone know where I can get a metal blank for this with just the square for the actual radio cut out and no switch holes? That way I can drill holes for the right sized toggle switches and just mount it firmly either with some proper brackets or epoxy or something...

I can't find a way to mount switches in the exist holes without a 'glue a washer on the back' thing that looks a bit pants and I think won't last as gluing metal to metal isn't great.

Not got the panel, but FWIW I managed to mend my wing mirror casting using two washers and Evostik "Serious Glue". The bit with the prong on it had completely fractured off from the body of the mirror.

Not fallen off yet.....

Can you not just buy a sheet of aluminium and cut a new one, using the original as a template?
