Morning everyone.

Quick question. I have a very small portfolio of shares that I bought around 5 - 6 years ago, all going nicely, and to keep a general eye on what they're doing I use a piece of software called Moneyextra.

I'm finding it a bit tedious now to be honest so I was wondering if anyone could recommend an online free download that I can punch in the share name, the date on which I purchased, how many I purchased and at what price and for it then to update me as to gains or losses throughout the day?

I'm not a whizz on either shares or software but if you know Moneyextra you'll know that sort of thing that I mean.

Many thanks for any help.

Regards, Simon.

To be honest I've not had a good search for any alternative as yet, coming here was my first port of call.

Google Finance. Thank you.

Simon.

I'm 99% sure it does it. Alternatively MoneyAM.

There are loads of free things that do this, IG Index I use which is free to have an account, Shareprice etc,. You can create a free account and then have a portfolio with them in. Enter the data and it will show how much you are gaining or losing!

Both have clients for iOS other wise you access via a website

Bloomberg has a free app that does this. Very easy to use.
