I don't think they will change their business model as a joint venture between Holden and Walky and use a different base for their flagship vehicle.

It's no different to Vauxhall turning Corsas and Insignias into VXRs. After all, the only Vauxhall car still made in the UK is the Astra.
Gm need to sell cars in aus still so it's not unlikely to be an Holden commodore which is a rebranded insignia or a Holden camaro then Hsv to do a better version. It like Vauxhall being an opel in Europe. Holden are not manufacturing any ore in aus I have not heard Holden as a name is dying.
