What brand new cars would you buy as "keepers"?
Discussion
Given sufficient funds and garage space, there are plenty of 20-30 year old cars that I would buy as "keepers" but what about brand new 2015 cars? If you could have up to 5 brand new 2015 cars to keep forever, what would they be?
Here's mine:
Alfa 4C

Yet to see one in the flesh and I wish it had a manual box but unless Alfa's ambitious plans come to fruition, this could be the last great Alfa.
Jaguar F-Type

Again, yet to see one in the flesh (don't live in UK) but looks and sounds terrific.
Audi R8

Don't have much time for Audis as a rule but I do like these and possibly the last supercar with a "proper" manual box?
Pagani Huayra

No explanation required. You can keep your P1, 918 and LaFerrari, for me this is the ultimate supercar.
Land Rover Defender 90

Would love to grab one of the last of these (just a factory version, not a Twisted edition or anything like that) before it's assigned to the history books.

Mine -
Aston V12 Vantage - a great power plant, arguably one of the last great British V12s before Aston are forced into smaller capacity F/I engines.
Land Rover defender 90. As the OP, original spec. Iconic vehicle.
Merc SLS. Awesome bit of kit, bold styling. I think will go collectable in a few decades.
Audi RS6 - possibly one of the last big 'everyday' cars with huge BHP before the EU meddlers spoil the fun.
Ferrari F12. Just because

P1 and LaFerrari - self explanatory really
GTR - the big power project
V8 F Type Convertible - sunny down cruiser/yob car
RS6 Avant - the sensible daily
Ferrari F12 - GT car to fulfil exactly that purpose.
I reckon that'd do me for keeps, and I could chop and change other toys as well

Keep forever? In that case probably none; all 2015 cars have too many electronics, airbags and complicated management systems - it is unlikely that manufacturers will support these for any length of time. Even the Defender example - do you think that you'll still be able to buy fuel-injection electronic components in 30-40 years time? Maybe, maybe not - it's not something I'd like to chance.
So, if you use them they'll wear out and the parts eventually won't be available. If you just store them, well they may as well be in a museum.
Sorry to put a dampener on your thread.
(I'm with you on the 20-30 year old cars though - they're much simpler)
