Several of us GTS owners have spoken about a get together so I thought I would start a thread to gauge interest and try (thankless task) to sort out a location and date that suits the majority of those interested.

I'm in East Anglia and happy to travel. We could arrange a weekend, at a reasonably price hotel, or just a day?

Put down your thoughts and lets see where it takes us..

Well done Bud.

I live in Warwickshire.

Options:

1) Silverstone, Porsche Exp center, just going there and take the parking at the entrance? I hope they would appreciate. Or we could call them to ask what if.....

2) Sunday breakfast/brunch in a pub in the middle of the countryside with a lot of park space (could propose a couple of place)

I would prefer a one day event to begin with (no night overstay)

Not a gts owner but wouldn't mind dusting the cobwebs off the Spyder if that's okay. Could get a couple of friends who also have 997 gts to tag along as well.

If you don't mind slumming it with non-GTS Boxsters in 986-987-981 guise then there are around 11 of us meeting for breakfast this Sunday at Fairokas Airport, Chobham http://www.boxa.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=6326...

Might tag along to that Boxa.net drive up to Fairoaks Airport, just up the A3M for me, thanks for the link.

No problem. If you're local keep an eye on boxa as we tend to meet locally at least every other month if not monthly.

No problem for me. Your more than welcome...

Time wise/weather is no issue for me but we may get a better turn out if would looked for a spring date?

We could head for PEC or arrange to meet at a friendly OPC? Then head off for lunch? Not sure a drive with so many would work?

Will be great to meet everyone....

Adding my thanks too edc, will also keep a lookout on boxa - am Guildford based, so that meet is very close to me, unfortunately off in the other direction towards the coast this Sunday :/

Also up for any local(ish) PH meets too smile
