missing bolt - any ideas

stripped front hub carrier and had a battle removing the bolt that holds the adjuster (for camber?). It basically started to weaken and almost shear.

Looking for a replacement but don't length/diameter of the UNF bolt.

It's the bolt at the top of the image near the hole

That will be metric and if you take that to someone with a bit of heat / gas bottles heat up the threaded part of the hub and that bolt will come straight out, this was a common problem with Ford's of that era, don't worry .

M12 x 70 Set Screw is what you need when replacing

Had to use heat, spray etc. to get it too move, whilst head did start turning thread didn't !! So attacked the thread but bolt buggered.

If I recall those bolts are soft and easily drilled out without gouging of damaging the threads I have done more of these on Sierra's Escort's and Orion's (front and rear on these two) than I care to remember when damper replacement was necessary all a very long time ago though

I was hoping/praying to avoid that and probably only just managed to do so. Got them out but not much fun
