Alternative to Northway near Reading?

Need to get my Cayenne in to someone asap for a battery drain problem.

I'm booked in with Northway for the 5th Feb, but ideally would like it done sooner. Is there another specialist in the Reading/Didcot area that people would recommend?

No issues with Northway at all, used them before and they are great, just need this fixed asap!

OP, what are the symptoms? I have a possible similar problem on my 04 cayenne. Never an issue when used daily but now have oil burner for did and the battery is becoming an issue and needs a regular run or charging.

I was about to book it into northways as they look after it usually.

Be interested to see how you get on.

Spent all afternoon on it with a multimeter! I've got a petty bad drain on the battery when it's locked. At times its up to 5 amps.

Seems like the car is turning things on for a few seconds, then turning them off and repeating this. I'm pulling fuses one by one to try now.

He's not a Porsche specialist but not really sure thats what you need?

Our cayenne used to spill electricity while locked up, removing the radio/satnav and booster arial fuses seems to stop the drain but I havent got any further than that with what the actual problem is.
