What is the cheapest/best hpi style check thing?

[un1corn]

Going to look at a car this afternoon. Only a couple of grand and it's from a dealer. He seems to have paperwork and so on, just want to make sure it's legit.

I know there's the £3 text check options, is there anything other/better rather than pay for a full hpi report? Im sure the dealer could give me the HPI but i want to check myself before i set off.
