I'll be honest, I know very few scousers who will buy Liverpool tops.
I only buy mine to play 5 a side in and don't wear it to go the game.
There are only 3 Sports directs in Liverpool. I've never bought a Liverpool top in my life from Sports direct
Someone has to do it, so might as well be me...isn't it because Liverpool fans from Liverpool steal them?I only buy mine to play 5 a side in and don't wear it to go the game.

I was watching a quiz show on telly the other night. A woman contestant was asked where she came from. "Preston. Born and bred". And what football team do you support? "Chelsea". Her son supported Man Utd and her husband some other club. Makes me seethe.
I'm a very simplistic person, almost naive to some. And I'm 64 so I remember footie pre-big money. Still doesn't stop me getting angry, though. OK it's a free country etc., but how the hell will your local club improve its team, or even survive, if the public don't support it? What's so wrong with watching your local club just for the sake of watching the match, rather than the "glamour"? I'm from Norwich, I'm quite used to my club doing the yo-yo, and I don't mind much. It didn't even concern me when they fell into League One - they deserved it. It's all part of the pleasure/nightmare of supporting a team who haven't got much cash.
If you live in Yeovil, or Gateshead, or Crewe, support your club. They need the money. These days it's all about association with success. In Ulster where I live, because they don't have top-flight footie, most locals support an English club, and I have no truck with that. Having said that, some folks feel the need to buy an awful lot of shirts - the Premiership team they support, Rangers or Celtic according to "choice" ( although there's a marked lack of Rangers flags about these days
), Linfield or Glentoran according to choice, plus the Norn Irn national shirt. Expensive support.
But the choice of Prem team is usually based on success. It was up till recently all about Man Utd, now they've changed to Chelsea, and City with that anaemic colour of sky-blue. It makes my blood boil.
Rant over.
PS Can't they see that if more of them support their local club. it'll have more money, attract more attention, maybe achieve more? AArrgghh!
