Its chassis number was LML/508, a works prototype and development car with a development project engine, crashed in Italy in 1961 and reportedly rebuilt. It had some good UK competition history before then, but may not have been heard of by AMOC since 1962.
However a quick google shows a nearly similarly numbered car was at RM auctions in London in October 2009, a 1950 Le Mans team car in condition 3- but this was LML/50/8, a different car and sold for £550K. Aston Registrar, where are you??
