22 year old imported MX-5 with a 4 week MOT, noisy clutch release bearing, needs 4 new tyres and he wants £2750 for it!

I don't care what it looks like, each to their own and all that, but it's worth about £750 in my eyes.

To look at or live with? Are tyres outside the bodywork legal? The tyres are so close to the wheel arches that even a small amount of movement would mean rubbing so the suspension will have to be rock hard and then there are speed bumps and potholes. Yes, I think it looks OK.

Yeah

"I would advise all 4 tyres be changed as they all show signs of age related cracking, and also camber wear"

Nice

IMO the PH classifieds are jam-packed with "optimistic sellers".

You bid on that "exact" replica Zonda monstrosity didn't you?

Yep, £2750 is dreamland for that.

"The car has had whats thought to be a rattly clutch release bearing since I originally purchased the car. This rattles usually on first start up and sometimes when at stand still in traffic when the clutch is pressed in, it does not do it all the time however..."

Yet the owner decided not to fix the mechanical defect but tart up the car with tat.

Says it all really.

Edit... and this... "I would advise all 4 tyres be changed as they all show signs of age related cracking, and also camber wear"

Yes! Same as the drift boys, some rusty bagga with drift handbrake and no interior advertised for vast sums of money.
Do people actually buy cars like this anymore?

Yeah but the bodykit was £1000, the alloys were £500, the seats were another £500 so it must be worth £2750!

People don't realise that you never get your money back on add-ons.
