HELP! Buzzing from petrol tank

My Chim has a constant buzzing coming from somewhere near the petrol tank. Is this the fuel pump stuck on or something? Its a slightly different buzz to the initial one you get when you first turn the key. Any ideas you good people? Thanks a lot.

Happens on mine for a couple of seconds when it is hot, almost always after i fire her up after stopping for some fuel etc. I don' think it is anything to worry about as it has been happening for over a year.

my fuel pump is quiet exept when i am low on fuel, then i get a constant buzz from it, it stops me running out of juice hope this is of some help regards Steve.

Ah, that could be it, as the dial was showing just under a quarter of a tank which is the lowest its ever been i think. I'll fill it up when I get home and see if that cures it.
