Cant set time on Planet ocean?

Have not used the planet ocean for a few months (2 or so) and it lived in its box, just tried to set the time and can't pull out the winder??

I don't want to use pliers on it, the watch itself is fine other than that, winder moves, etc... just can't pull it to set the time.

Any ideas on how to do it without tearing nails out or damaging the watch?

when you say you can't pull it out - you have unscrewed the crown first haven't you?

Surely youve unscrewed the crown , to adjust the date its the first position isn't it?

Just having it on my wrist a few hours heated it up enough to completely unscrew it for it to ping out... thats what was not happening before.

It needs a service soon so will get them to check it as never had a problem completely unscrewing the winder before.
