TVR items bought from eBay

So far I have bought from eBay
valve dust caps ( very nice) 12 pounds
set of brake shoes front ( brand new ) 15 pounds
TVR tax disc holder ( very good )
various Leven bits and pieces
Car cover
I have bid on two Tuscans one an S I went up to 22K didn't get either, didn't really expect to, but great fun.
a swirl tank excellent condition , I have polished it, looks like ss
Ive bought a lot more items from Pistonheads but everything I have bought on e-bay has been good value
Anyone any bad experiences?

Ebay is so full of people peddaling useless cr@p these days. If you search for anything car related you end up wading through pages and pages of scalextric cars, posters, magazines, key fobs, and torches.

I once bought a complete Bosch K-Jet system for the 2.8 Cologne engine including AirBox, plenum, and allsorts.. excellent. I'll be selling it on ebay too at some point as its now suplus to requirements (unless a PHer with a Tasmin or S1 needs it?)

True - I've found the same. But if you narrow your search and exclude the words 'scalextric, model, poster and print' it makes life a lot simpler!

Silicon hoses have a temperature resistance of -50C to 200C with a burst presure of 20 bar, if used for induction the bore is very smooth increasing air flow, they can be cleaned with warm soapy water AND THEY LOOK GREAT. want some ?
