Bought a cooked chicken on Saturday, OK to eat on Monday?

As above really, had half yesterday in a curry and the rest is in the fridge. Will it be OK to eat on a sandwich for lunch tomorrow?

Provided you stuck it in the fridge promptly, yes. I do this frequently with cooked chickens as they are a bit too big to finish.

Dunno about ready cooked but we'll quite often roast one at a weekend and eat in it sandwiches all week. Keeps for a fair while in the fridge.
