Today's photography - another stab at landscapes!!
Discussion
Hi All,
One of my main failings is landscape photography - on the whole i'm a bit crap at it. So, today I set myself the challenge of capturing some images worth uploading to the web, whatever the weather - then I looked out of the window. The sky was grey, featureless and the light was pretty poor. Nevertheless, I walked off, ND Grad filter in hand, to see what I could come up with - and here are the results...
The first 4 images in this album:

I'm not sure this shot is really anywhere near good enough to be uploaded to be honest, but I rather like it for some reason!
Im not sure if my shots are getting better or worse, but I think i'm gradually learning to get better shots in poor conditions, if that makes any sense!?
Any comments?
Dave

Hmm, I think you're going in the right direction, but I think you may have gone a bit over the top, especially on the blue! I agree that the original needs work though - it lacks any depth and looks a bit crap, now that I look at it again.
I spent 30seconds running an 'Auto Levels' on it in PS7 - I think this is a happy medium between both extremes?
Dave
PS Thanks for spending some time on it!

. As I wasn't there I've no idea what it actually looked like. J
