Just having a pair of these fitted to the Gallardo.
I am not going to be going too crazy to start, maybe 1250hp

The turbo on the left is from a Porsche Cayenne for reference smile

I thought in turbo land bigger was not necessarily better all round?

Big turbo's = big turbo lag?

Can't wait to see it finished though wink ......

That's true to a certain extent but the benefit of a bigger turbo is more power so when it does kick in it will really kick in drivingsmasheek

The stock engine will cope with around 1000hp @ wheels.
The unit comes with software for this level but I will write to make it perfect for me.
I think the major issue is that people like the boost to hit like a punch from Mike Tyson but I also know this is where problems start so I will be doing all I can to bring boost in smoothly.
The engine in its build will run around 1750hp but this imo is too much and I'm not doing this to get top speeds and running drag times on the weekend, its only really being done to make an occasional weekend driver and to show what can be done. We are going to do the Huracan in the next few weeks also.

The clutch was the major issue, we have sorted this now with the help of an american company who have built us a kevlar unit that should give close to em levels of drive yet capable of holding 1000lbft which is more than this engine will ever put out.
I honestly think that the key is the build quality, getting the charge cooler system fitted correctly making sure intake temps are within tolerances and that it all holds together. I am using Oakley Design for fitting as I know the quality of work they do it undeniably the best available.

One issue I have is the brakes, I am running steels and had looked at getting a bigger set of steels but I have been told that these will not cope and brakes are not my field of expertise so I am now looking to getting the carbon brakes on the car. Costly but less than repairing the entire front end of the car after not being able to stop it smile

Is the car an LP or a 5.0 engine?

Of course I remember them, I collect old home computers, but don't tell anyone, no one knows and there is no way I would tell anyone publicly about such things.

Because PH naming and shaming rules.

Pointless forum when you can't help others and advise of good and bad tuners.

Im out.
