Undriven or ridiculously low mileage?
Discussion
In reference to the Lancia Integrale Martini on the homepage that's covered 31 miles from new, do any of you know someone with something similar in storage, or forgotten about?
I'm intrigued as to what might be out there, brand new, virtually undriven bar a few miles, that's sitting in a de-humidified heated garage or in a carcoon. They come to market relatively often - like the cortina that had 1800 miles on it, or the 456 in the same auction, so there must be a decent amount of them around.
There must be some absolute gems out there.

There's a BMW garage in America somewhere, where the cars have stood there, with delivery mileage, since the 80s. From what I remember, a cleaner still goes in there and keeps the place clean.

There's also a garage in some contested territory between Turkey and Greece that has been abandoned since the 1980s. The difference is that the cars (from memory it was a Mazda dealership) aren't cleaned and are simply abandoned in this no man's land. I imagine there are some with delivery mileage among that lot.
I remember seeing a Sierra XR4x4 on eBay quite some time ago with zero miles. The car had reportedly been bought with a Turbo Technics conversion in mind, but the conversion never happened and it had been stored away for decades. The seller was looking somewhere in the £15,000 region.

The place you are referring to is Varosha, Famagusta in Northern Cyprus - iirc it has been abandoned since 1974, and apparently there are some cars from that era still in the showrooms. How true that is I don't know, but if you go onto YouTube there are some videos of the area and looking at those I'd be surprised if the cars were still there. The only way to see the place (safely) is to go by boat from the local tour operators. VinceM said:

That's the place! Seems I had quite a bit wrong about it though, didn't I? I too wonder if the cars are still there. I don't think I've seen any photos taken extremely recently, so it's a tough call.A white 306 Rallye popped up on the owners club a few years ago that had been sat in a container from new IIRC.
Carl purchased it for circa £7k I think.
Bianca White 306 Rallye currently done only 250 miles from new.
Even made an appearance at Peugeot HQ - http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=142...
