Hi all,

Looking to buy a car around the £20k mark and, as a former Ford Mustang owner, I was looking for something practical, but with some oomph. At the moment I am looking at the E63 AMG and the VXR8. The VXR8 seems to promise the smile I had driving the Mustang, but the four-door supermarket run reality I am likely to be living. The car is unlikely to be a daily user as I live in London and have a pass, but was curious if you guys think I should be looking at any other motors.

Thanks for your help.

Not sure if they are quite in budget yet, but if you are feeling brave how about a Quattroporte?
Fantastic looking cars, interior is lovely and soundtrack rather special!

If the E63 is on your radar, how about a CLS63 AMG instead? Practical with a little added zest.

Matt.

The Quattroporte is lovely. Definitely going to consider this with the CLS63. Thanks.

Assuming you are not that bothered by age. Jag XFR/XJR or Range Rover Supercharged, Sport or Full Fat, should be in budget.

FWIW. FFRR would be my choice. Very nice place to be.

Hmm. Range just seems big to me. Going to give me parking nightmares in car parks and stuff.
