Break through glass ceiling

In my job I work for a lot of wealthy and successful people and the more of these types that I have met the more I have realised that they are on the whole nothing special and no different to us mere mortals.

The clear difference is that the mere mortals are wage slaves - whilst the wealthy have transcended this necessity and earn money from money or assets.

Aside from inheriting or being in the right place at the right time does anyone have any views on how you make this journey?

I'm sure I will get a lot of set goals and work hard type responses - I do believe in working hard to get what you want, just not sure any of my rich clients have followed this mantra.

Maybe there is a secret they only teach at the top private schools!

Work for yourself.

If you are an employee - you are highly unlikely to become rich.

I'd probably start with an attitude change, to be frank.

Pretty much anything is achievable if you want it bad enough and willing to do whatever it takes. Sadly, most people seem to just want it to happen.

I'd love to know just how many people worked their arses off and took every risk imaginable to 'be in the right place at the right time'.

I'm close to somebody that risked more than his family will ever know to 'be in the right place at the right time'.
