New Commuter Mark 2

Posted a couple of weeks ago about looking for a car to allow me to commute 15-20k pa for next 2 years with a budget of approx 15k. I've now realised that for a similar price per month on PCP I can afford a new car plus will get the benefits that brings.
Therefore I am looking at a Diesel 3 Series Touring, C-Class Estate and A4 Avant. I'd like it to be very comfortable and economical and as fast as my current petrol Octavia vRS.
Do people have experience of the above models and have opinions as to which is the best choice. Are there other models I'm missing that I should consider? I looked at a Mazda 6 Estate and Ford Mondeo Estate but they were significantly more expensive than the three above.

Posted this at silly O'clock in the morning due to new baby. Thought I'd give it a bump. Just to clarify when I said Ford etc more expensive meant per month on PCP rather than overall
