Morning -

My wife is keen for a new watch but she has some very specific requirements !

She's looking for a brown leather traditional style watch with a larger face and numbers on the dial. She currently has an Omega womens Seamaster with a small face but finds it hard to tell the time without her glasses on !

So far I have looked at mens watches to try and find something with a larger face but will the strap be too long ?

Budget not really considered at this stage. I'd just like to see some watches from any one's recommendations as the only watch I have found that seems to fit the description is a budget Timex for £40 but the reviews say the date mechanism seems to break after a year so that;s not ideal.

or this - but not sure it meets the traditional requirement

Thanks in advance

Check out the Christopher Ward website they have a good selection and excellent customer service, although you will need to up your budget somewhat, but I'm sure she's worth it smile

Also worth looking at Citizen. Their Ecodrives (virtually the whole range now) are nice technology, with decent prices and first class backup from Citizen UK (inc a 5 year guarantee for UK sourced models). They even do one ladies watch that seems to meet your description - very classic round with high contrast, clear, numbers that doesn't look like something designed by the RNIB biggrin

Much as I hate pointing people towards Samuals, they hold a fairly good range of them and you've probably got one fairly local to you:
