Dear LR officianados. This is my first post in this section but my boss has just taken possession of a brand new RR sport diesel and asked me to research the best place to get it chipped/remapped. Apparently I am the expert in these matters.

Anyone got recommendations? We're based N. London/Hertfordshire but would probably prefer a proper specialist than one of the multitude of independents so location less important.

JE Engineering is generally pretty highly rated for the FF - http://www.jeengineering.co.uk/je-performance-tuni...

No direct experience myself so only an internet recommendation I am afraid!

brand new and getting it 'chipped' will void all warranty - is it worth it to get a bit more bhp and loose warranty?

same with wheels - just bought a set of Autobiography 21" wheels/tyres that have covered less than 20 miles because the owner was 'upgrading' to 23" wheels - again voiding warranty

as you say, not your problem

but given Land Rover's history of faults the warranty is absolutely priceless

Can't understand the reasoning of buying a Diesel to get it chipped. Why hasn't he bought a more powerful version in the first place?

The company suggested above is suggesting bhp from 339 to 376 and torque from 700-840 so pretty big gain. Diseasels do lend themselves to chipping and you get reasonable mileage compared to petrol versions so a win all round I think.
