Audi Q5 needed but location triangulation!!

Hi All,

The sister-in-law wants a nearly new Q5 2.0 TFSI auto. The only stipulaitons are less than 15k on the clock and no more than a couple of years old.

She has a A6 Le-mans edition to trade in and I have found 2 cars that match this description in the Audi dealer network.

Problem is she is in South Wales, I'm in Berkshire and the cars are either up north or way down south.

So what can I do?

Do I need to travel the depth and bredth of the country to view these cars or can they send them down to a dealer near me, or her?

I have been using the Audi.co.uk used car locator.

I think if you are definately going to buy and put a deposit down they will send it to you.

Not just to view though!

Ford will bring fords from one dealer to another if you want to look at them

I know this because I went to a dealer and they told me. maybe you can ring up a local audi dealer and aks?

A quick call to the dealer will answer this surely?

For what it's worth 12 years ago Audi sent an A6 up to Aberdeen for me to view, from Glasgow, and more recently, in 2012, Motorpoint sent an S-Max from Derby to Glasgow for my wife and I to look at. I bought both cars.

Oh, if they can send to view then great...failing that i could put the deposit down and show her the car.

I think the SIL will like the car as all she wants really:

£27-33k

Does anyone know what discounts off the list price Audi might offer?

I just realised that brand new they can be had for £31k !!

That is an auto too!
