I am currently rebuilding my Tvr tuscan and was thinking of using two engine lifts to lifts the body back on. The body was jacked up to clear to all the tight spots and then man handled by 8 of my mates to remove it but I think a little more finess might be required for refitting. To that end I have access to one engine lift and was wondering if anyone in or near to warrington would be willing to lend me one for a few beer tokens.

I used 2x 8' axle stands with a beam between the two and a block and tackle at the front and a engine hoist at the back. It would have been ideal to have had block and tackle front and back but only had access to the one, but this allowed the chassis to be wheeled out with 2 hoists you will struggle to get the chassis in I think.
Had you been closer I would have brought them, sorry
