Hi All,

I'm after a full set of budget-mid range tyres. I have found a great deal on the Barum Bravuris 245/45-17.

Does anyone have any feedback or experience of these?

They are for a Mercedes E320 AG Estate 2004.

Thanks in advance.

Borrowed an Insignia with Bravuris 2 fitted. Was impressed by the tyres.

Seems better than you'd expect.

How much are they in that size, out of interest?

Fitted Barums many times to my cars.
Decent tyre for the money.

Great tyres. Continental own them don't they? I have a new set on a one series and they are really very good. Coming from runflats that's no big surprise but I'd take these all day long over a set of uber expensive brand names.

Weird name. For a moment, thought it was a foreign car/tractor. hehe

I have had them previously on my Astra, they were cheap at the time from National Tyres/tyreshopper and they grip well. They didn't last very well though and were replaced on the fronts at between 10,000 and 12,000 miles. The Khumo I use these days last at least twice as long an only cost a little more.

Price per mile was high compared to the Khumo.

When I get new tyres for the daily that's what I buy. Have used them on both road & track & been very happy with them.

Approx £80 each+fitting
That cant be bad for what seems like a pretty good tyre!

Great all-rounder at the price, on the second set on my daily, suit it perfectly.
