They both look stunning -- no prices as yet however I would guess around £500 each.

Identical to the studio images on the Ducati website if I'm not mistaken:

A shame that they've gone with yet another modern Lamborghini.

I saw the pocher huracan in harrods and I thought it looked pants, almost like a big burrago-never quite figured out the love for these?

Plenty of "Emperor's new clothes" hype in the modelling world. Pocher had a good reputation for fantastic if not easy to build large scale kits. Quality went down the pan, and the name has now re-emerged under Hornby, with what appears to be a line of easy to build but not particularly inspiring models.

Not easy to build is an understatement (you think Airfix are problematic!) I finished off a Pocher Alfa 'Monza' a couple of years ago and it was possibly the most frustrating thing I have built. So much work to get a decent result, but saying that, it's always a problem applying modern finishing standards to kits produced a while ago, especially when they are mainly just carriers for a raft of aftermarket bits and bobs.

I built a Revival W154, which I was told was a "mini Pocher - with the same issues". The parts looked beautiful individually, in the box, but actually putting them together took months; pretty much nothing fitted, and most suspension parts needed drilling and pinning to assemble.

The other thing about modern cars - Pocher or otherwise, is that there simply isn't the same mechanical detail on show as with an older car. Everything is covered with plastic panels.

In deference to your post, I've edited my post above to now include the word 'modern'.
I'm sure a Pocher Miura, or many other '60s sports cars would have been as commercially viable;
or am I just showing my age biggrin ?
