Especially interesting is the part where BMW do online research to find pictures to establish it was used on track.

And people asked me why I taped up my M3's number plate on a Vmax day!

Weird one.

They are meant to be the ultimate driving machine.

Also, they make them go quicker than 70mph!

Perhaps bmw should offer an additional warranty for say £500 to cover track days. That's perhaps fairer.

So even BMW don't think it's a real M car either now.

Seriously though, hope they see the error of their ways and resolve this. Short term gain, long term pain on their part.

really hope you get this sorted in the appropriate way by BMW.

as an M3 owner who tracks (although mines well out of any warranty from BMW) I would hope they do the right thing and act accordingly.
