Got a new one for the 400SE from Maw Solutions, I think the fan was a Davis Craig or something like that.

Can't remember the model number but if Elvis Wedgeley sees this he will be able to see the receipt for it in the history file he has got smilesmile. I guess it will be the same fan needed for the 350SE

Hi mate...What a blade or a new fan?...Have you still got the original cowling and rubber flaps....If so then you might be better off replacing it with a new one the same size...I think the originals were Spal fans..Everyone raves about Kenlowes but they are not the only fan giant..I have had kenlowes that have been poo....

SPAL:

Mind you they are made in Italy so they might be expensive but they will be "Fantastico"...smile

OK. After going through twenty years of history I finally located the bill from Maw Solutions. It was a Davies Craig DC31 Kit. Part No.0005. Invoice total £103.40 Invoice Date 12/04/10. Suppliers Maw Solutions Ltd.

If there is anything else you wish to know, let me know. I hope that helps. All the best.

If you go for this then the fan comes in a housing that needs a small cut taking out of the top to allow the bonnet to clear it. Here is a pic from when I did mine :-

Got mine from MeBay - Davis Craig type for under £100. Check their website for the correct type of fan then shop around for the best price. There are 2 types that the Ausies recomend for the Wedge. Just make sure you have the fan set up to suck and not blow...

I never had any overheating issues with mine using the 'standard' fan even when in heavy traffic and hot weather. Perhaps I was just lucky??

Main reason for recommending this (apart from not having any issues) is that it is a direct replacement so no additional work needed to mount it etc, just uses the same screw holes

I did the same - 14 inch pusher on one side of the rad and the standard 12 inch puller on the other side.

Don't think it will really be enough on my car but it was just a stop gap before I have to dig deep and buy a custom alloy jobbie with twin fans and shrouds.

I re-routed my rad plumbing - fitted new fan - bled the system, doesn't get anywhere beyond 90 even on the hottest of days.
