Marine & Automotive 3M adhesive foam tape

Can anyone point me in the right direction of the type of double sided foam tape which can be used to very securely apply body trim please? My understanding is that Scotch 3M make it but I'm not sure which one to go for.

In addition, where can I buy it at a reasonable price? Happy to go mail order as long as the P&P isn't ridiculous. Any pointers please?

Try 3M VHB.

"reasonable price" and "VHB" don't usually go in the same sentence I'm afraid. You probably need to look for someone on ebay who sells it in short lengths as the rolls are fairly pricey.

I use it to attach my side repeaters to my US car. The previous tape was rubbish and the repeater kept unsticking. I used it 3 months ago and they are still stuck solid. Others have used it for car trim and as advertised for number plates.

Thanks for the recommendations - have bought some 3M VHB but due to impatience, ended up paying £15 for 6m rather than £20 for 33m
