The Cerbera Event 2005
Discussion
As we head into the New Year, it's time to make plans for a Cerbera Register Event.
For a variety of reasons, it failed to happen in 2004, which is all the more
reason to make sure it does get off the ground in 2005.
Naturally, people's location, event desires and budgets will be very different,
so to get a feel for what you want, please vote in the following poll.
The Cerbera Event 2005 Poll
I have a number of provisional ideas and plans, while I also have access to a few
excellent offers, but before we get to that stage, let's see what you want first!
I will leave this open for two weeks and see what transpires, but I urge you to
vote as this is your event and it will only happen if enough people want it.
Over to you....
Go create some weather...

So are you going to be trying to get your beautiful Cerby back in time for 'the event' Graham ?!
How are you and your lovely wife ? Have you got any plans to come along to the Northants meets at all ? Would be good to see you all again, with or without TVR.....
Have just voted on your poll, it would be great to see a mass of Cerberas all in one place...just need to come up with an appropriate collective name now !
Hi Penny
Good to hear from you and thanks for voting.
Indeed, it has been too long hasn't it - I hope you and the family are well?
Our travels have kept Amy & I away from meetings, but maybe February we can be there.
It's easier when the meetings are Thursday's as we can then also attend other meetings
on the Sunday which is always fun.
I doubt I will be TVRless for too much longer - it's agony!
Judging by the way votes have come in during the first 12 hours the event could happen,
so thanks to all those who have voted so far.
Keep 'em coming.

Hi all,
I have voted and look forward to hearing more!!
Any event will be good and hopefully not clashing with other TVR events already planned... one day event I assume is easier to organise over a track day but either would great...
Roll on the better weather and some proper Cerbera fun ...
Regards DAS

I've done a track day at Elvington before (in a Cobra) - it's a longish circuit 2.5-3m (plenty of straight & they were running a timed 1/4 mile too), the surface is a little abrasive but there's plenty of run-off space! And no dB limit.....!!
Not as challenging as a proper circuit but great fun for a day out and loads of space to gather (and the Cobra club camped out/partied overnight too).

Ash - did you get my email this morning?
Nope, nothing... (maybe the email was blocked because the server thought it was from some nigerian fella trying to sell me a 30million dollar yacht for 10k
) try sending to xxx@xxx.xxx

Graham, Nice photo on the event page, I'm flattered, and was predictable in my voting, all the best Jonny
Thanks for sending them in - I'll be using more.
I also just wanted to thank everyone for voting.
95 votes in under two days is roughly 50% of the current owners on TCR
which is wonderful.
It's pretty clear the event is needed and I may have a provisional venue / dates
lined up, but please keep the votes coming.
Many thanks also to those that have contacted me with ideas. If anyone else wants to
suggest anything or offer help, please drop me a line.

Ok if a Griff tags along, if it`s a nice day i could have the top down and make you all jealous ..........Heh heh!
Of course, but given the amount of times you visit PH these days, you'll miss a 2006 event!![]()
Or is it just because he's got a car that WORKS?!

Gassing Station | Cerbera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

so I am bound to scare myself on either!
s, and camp...
I'm flattered, and was predictable in my voting, all the best Jonny
