Hopefully posting this in the right forum!

Looking to buy a decent 5GHz HD Wireless TV sender that actually works between walls / floors etc. Looking to send my Sky HD signal upstairs to the bedroom TV. I have heard many senders don't have much of a range or need line-of-sight to work properly.

Any decent ones sub-£150?

Requirements:

- Must work with the new model Sky+ HD Box with built-in wireless
- Have a range that actually works
- Is around £150 or below
- Needs to be fairly compact in size, something you could mount on say a standard window sill for example, so should be size of say a router. A Sky Multi-Room box would have nowhere to sit.

One I have come across is slightly pricey @ £230 but meets the other criteria.

Not sure what make mine is but it sure as heck didn't cost anywhere near that much - I think around £30, I've been using it without trouble for about 7 years (except noticed that my new microwave interferes with it!!).

I'd be interested in this too, been looking for a solution to get a tv working in my kitchen, satellite dish is on the opposite side of the house and would be pain to run cabling.

There are cheaper units available around the £40 mark however from I have read they have trouble penetrating walls / floors and also are not compatible with the latest integrated wireless Sky HD box.

Have used them in the past with some success however it was hit and miss one day was decent next day it was not, this was years ago so the latest ones I hope would be better.
The latest one I bought to replace the old one was from Maplins however that was no joy either so took it back and got a full refund, worth getting one from them as you can always take it back.
