That is not a pretty car.

I have nothing against electric cars, for certain applications they are a good option, but I think it a shame to use the Sunbeam name for something like that.

That name takes me back. The very first brand new car that my dad ever bought was a Sunbeam Rapier in gold. One of these:

No B pillar. So cooooool ! I couldn't sleep the night before he picked it up.

It's a travesty, why use a heritage name and launch a pig looking thing like that! There are hundreds of old unheard of car brand names collecting dust as well. Sunbeam my a*se!

A mini-Plymouth Barracuda. And whenever I see the name Barracuda I can't stop thinking about that song which starts with a spoof advert where the voiceover calls it a Baccaruda. Anyone remember it?

Horrid looking thing! Reminds me of Aston Martins foray into the foul with that stupid Cygnus thing.

That is indeed a Sunbeam - strangely my 1968 Sunbeam Raper also sounded like that . . .

The badge they're using is the "Sunbeam Coventry" trademark (applied for but not yet granted) : http://www.ipo.gov.uk/tmcase/Results/1/UK000030897...
(also Class 12) but modified.

I'm not sure how the removal of the "Coventry" to use only "Sunbeam" would go down.
