I Got Flashed !

Got caught very early today on the A27 in Southampton (Bitterne). Pulling 38tonner up a steep hill and got a little carried away. My best guess is about 50. Reason its a best guess is that I was caught by a truvelo. Considering that they are at cab height when you are in a truck, that purple flash is feckin bright. I had to stop as soon as possible as I was literally dazzled and could not see anythng other than astarburst behind my eyes (no sweetie jokes please!)

Oh well, when the NiP comes through I`ll pay up and look big, just like I said I would.

The least you can do to ease the pain is ask for a copy of the pic, you wincing, mouth puckered up in a "ffffffff" kind of way.

Plead not guilty and state that could not possibly have acheived that speed. Put onus on CPS to prove that it is possible. Mags can be impressed with disbelief of an event occurring, especially when there is so much evidence piling up that machines can lie (or only doing as instructed).

Even if it is I susect all the kids would have been tucked up in bed. I also suspect that if an emergency stop was necessary a 38 tonne truck going up a steep hill would stop quick;y even without the brakes being applied!

Yeah! saw one flash in Blackpool last weekend. I was several hundreds of yards away coming in the opposite direction, poor bloke coming the other way got flashed. Dual carriageway an' all, 30 mph!!! Don't even THINK about going to Blackpool Steve. More Gatso's than tree's.

Hey! You'd laugh Steve, but: A man with an old English Sheep dog was standing in front of the hotel.

The Dog, (because of the wind)was struggling to keep it's eye's open. It lifted it's paw, to move. And was instantly blown over by the wind.

To those of you with asensitive mind, Yes! the poor animal was perfectly OK. Awwwwww!!!
