Been playing grand theft auto on playstation 2 quite a bit since Xmas, I think its affected my brain.

I was at a set of lights tonight when the car behind me started reving the living daylights out of its little engine

For some reason, I decided to take off at warp 7 when the lights turned green, glimpsed the adjacent lights turning orange, mistakenly thought my lights were about to go green so I engaged the hyperdrive and promptly made the jump to lightspeed.

I came out of hyperspace 100 metres down the road, car sliding about on the wet road. Poor boyracer chap must have thought I was a right nutter running a red light with oncoming traffic both ways, when my lights actually wern't turning green at all!!

Suppose thats one way to ensure laxxers stay in your rear view mirror

It would take a lot of both to make the average man floor it through red lights and oncoming traffic

I too got GTA San Andreas for Xmas, and agree that it's not a good idea to drive afterwards...infact I wouldn't recommend leaving the house at all!

Made the same mistake as UKBob in a mkII Astra 1.6L The Astra does not have hyperdrive. Realised the mistake halfway across the junction, just got to keep it nailed.
Junction was very quiet, luckly 'get a grip' lesson learnt early in my driving career.

Oh those joyous days when someone else employed me. You cant do such wonderful things when you employ yourself
