Hey guys and girls.

I have regularly browsed pistonheads for years, and occasionally posted. I think the last time I posted a photo of what I have was 2010 when I first started driving. Now coming up to 5 years on the road, heres how far I have come:

My first car (and I still have here) is a 1996 Toyota Paseo ST with the full optional bodykit, which has seen many phases over the last few years but currently off the road. I will one day return it to its former glory... maybe with turbo this time.

I spent 4 years driving this around, and covered many happy miles. The exhaust is quite loud, the suspension was quite stiff and I was sick to death of trying to edge it over speedbumps. Even though it doesn't look that low...

Then this time last year an oppurtunity arose to grab some optional leather seats... but they were still attatched to a high miler. The car in question was a 1996 Paseo Si, higher spec model in black (which is reasonably rare). This one had done 150k, and had been used from Dorchester to London on a daily basis for 4 years. The owner moved up there, sold it to his brother and it went through a few modification stages. 1 was a decat exhaust, mated with a standard back box (which is still on there and soon to be replaced), another was a cone filter and a set of 16" Corolla T-Sport alloys. The T-Sport alloys came off in favour for some original alloys and the car has been left as is. Currently sits at 168k and has had one minor service, soon to be due its next service. My plan with this is to get it to 200k milestone.

And a recent aquisition, by chance and by accident. A local owner (of 15 years) gave me a generous offer that couldn't be refused, and I have now aquired a tidy Azure blue Si. The car has a few battle scars but nothing that would need major work. It has done 65k and has very rare optional air conditioning, which cost the original owner well over 1k to have fitted. Plenty of history to it, and I have previously worked with the salesman who sold this new.

So, thats my rather strange collection... And my name is Sam.

Interesting choice of car, don't see many of these about! What kind of engine have these got?

I remember when these came out and I always thought they could look better with a lower stance and bigger wheels. From memory i think the biggest engine was 2.0 but wasn't very powerful?
