best brake pads for DB9 - less dust!
Discussion
Hi all..previous threads on this topic seemed old, so thought I would see if anything has changed in the last 2 years..
I am looking for new pads for my DB9, with less dust than the OEM pads, but I would still like to use the wear sensor..has anyone had any success in finding pads that fit this criteria?

I'd be interested in a low dust option for a Vantage but EBC only seem to make yellowstuff for my year, these claim a similar dust level to OE parts. (Aston seems to have changed the calipers over the years but I'm not sure when, I'm guessing the models use the same brakes within the same model year though?)
Does anyone know of a website that lists all available pads/manufacturers for a specific model? That actually works? Ebcbrakesdirect.com suggests yellowstuff only for Vantage and DB9's but obviously they do make redstuff to fit, it's almost like they don't want to sell us anything.

Hi
In the past I've used Ferodo's DS2000 pads (which I now believe are called DS Performance Brake Pads) and they were amazing in all cars (Impreza, M6 & even a boring Civic).

DaemonTweaks have the DS2500 which are the Ferodo track pad:

I wouldn't care if my alloys looked like the inside of a chimney, as long as the brakes stopped bloody squealing.
I referred to this in another thread recently, but BG Stop Squeal is nothing short of amazing. Look for it on eBay or Amazon. It's one of the most satisfying automotive products I've bought in years.I've had a good search but can't seem to find anyone selling this in the UK. I'll call BG today, hopefully this will be the end of my hell.

The application is simple. 1)Remove your pads (there's a YouTube tutorial on changing Vantage pads, and the DB9 is the same); 2) If the pads are used, rough up the surface with a wire brush to allow the Stop Squeal to soak in; 3) Shake up the Stop Squeal bottle WITH THE CAP ON; 4) Carefully drip the Stop Squeal onto the FRONT surface of the pads (I took about thirty minutes to apply almost a full bottle per pad... it can be very messy, so protect the area you're working on from splatter!); 5) After the black liquid had soaked in, reinstall the pads, and you're good to go. I LOVE this stuff!Zuman said:

I'll have a go and review but will not apply until late March at the earliest. Andy at BG told me the best way to apply is to pour into a flat container and sit the pads face down in it for as long as you can, up to 3 days if you can. I can probably manage overnight. He didn't mention roughing up the face of the pads but I'll probably have a go as well.

The front calipers changed on MY12.25 cars
The rear remains the same
Any more info regarding the actual change? The front calipers changed on MY12.25 cars
The rear remains the same

thanks for the feedback all..based on the comments, and the availability to procure out here in the convict settlement, looks like EBC redstuff will be the best option.
Now the question is can I get away with just doing the fronts, or do I have to do all 4 at the same time. All four would obviously be preferable but I have 80% left on the OEM rears and its seems a waste if I am not compromising safety.
