Low mileage CSL (31k). Possibly advertise it soon if i get a GT4 slot? I'm sure to regret it. Was Hoping to keep hold of it as it's mint and had £k's spent on it (BMW warranty). Good CSL's with good history are getting hard to find so i need to appreciate that once it's gone... it's gone, so the GT4 better be good!

Just parted with a 996 GT2. If I'd realised I'd be waiting until close to the last quarter of the year I'd have held on to it a little longer!

CSL is a great car. But I don't think you'll miss it when you're in the GT4. I had a couple back in the day.

987.2 Cayman S which will probably go once (if) I get confirmation of a GT4. Only 17k miles and amazing specification (£72k new) so will be a great buy for someone. Don't think I would like to drop off the 987 to collect the GT4 as I might be disappointed by the lack of feel. Better to go without a fun car for a while before jumping into a GT4.

I like my CSL. it's an awesome track day car. The engine noise is completely different and pretty insane. It is also wonderfully balanced. Well, once you stiffen up the chassis and put dampers and brakes on the car.

Love it. CSL staying....

I can't get over this lack of feel statement.
why stop here?
you should try an air-cooled porsche for steering feel.

987 wasn't that good anyways compared with the 997/996

I do agree, they're great cars. Loved mine and it's still probably still in the top 3 of cars I've owned. I did think the 996 GT3 Mk2 I owned later was better and I preferred the GT2 to the GT3. Things move on though and I can't afford to keep a collection of cars. My top 3 are all ten years old now! So I'm hoping the GT4 will show the bebefit of 10 years development whilst maintaining a degree of driver engagement via the manual box. If it had been PDK only I would probably been out. Making it manual only was a master stroke by Porsche. AP was right, most enthusiasts don't care about an extra tenth here or there, it's about involving the driver at this sector of the marjet.

Great induction roar on the CSL. Difficult to beat! Although the standard sport exhaust on the GT4 sounds pretty damn good!

Was seduced by the very nice salesman at Porsche Cardiff into putting an LOI in for the forthcoming GT3 RS. I'll have to save a few more penny's over the next 12 months!

I guess you were the chap I used to see driving the silver 996 gt2 around Cardiff?

Thinking about it a local broker just sold a dark blue gt2 in Cardiff as well.

Out of interest which salesman mentioned putting a letter of intend down on a gt4 rs?

Maybe. Mine was a Mk.1 but with Mk.2 wheels, wing and mirrors etc. I'm a lot more worried about missing mine than Phooey is about missing his CSL (I think!).

I was chatting to Ian Peters about the GT3 RS, not GT4 RS.

Not the one I spotted!

We have bought a few cars off Ian over the years.

Cardiff OPC has an excellent level of customer service Martin, Tina and Steve are a real credit to the brand.
