Has anyone got one and if so can you recommend a good starter recipe?

I'd be quite interested in savoury as well as sweet?

It's a fantastic bit of kit. I use mine daily.

Used the following ingredients this morning.

Kale
Spinach
Pomegranate seeds
Chia Seeds
Banana
Blueberries
Coconut Water

It's great for making hummus...

2 cloves of garlic
2 tins of chick peas
salt
1/3 cup of tahini
Fresh lemon juice
Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Guacamole

3 avocados
juice 1 large lime
handful coriander, leaves
1 small red onion
1 chilli, red or green, deseeded

Lots of recipes on their FB page.

Just remember that its a centrifugal juicer/blender, and as such knocks a lot of the nutrients out of what you are processing.

Juicers that work on the masticating principle effectively cold press the fruit/veg and help preserve the nutient levels in the fruit veg.

Here's some examples: http://www.ukjuicers.com/fruit-and-vegetable-juice...

I actually have one of those listed on the page, and an effective piece of kit it is too.

100% spot on. However the Bullet appears to 'blend' it all together. Id only add that it's a neat device but should be used in moderation because drinking ones food is not a good idea but making dips etc is a great idea. You can also consume a lot of calories unwittingly

Correct Burwood. There are no bits lost in the blending on the Nutribullet. Therefore you are getting the full benefit - fibre, nutrients, etc.

The key is in the ratio. 80 percent greens to 20 percent fruit. This way you limit the sugar (fruit) intake.

Great way to get your 5 a day in one sitting.
