Headers and cats fitted
Discussion
So today I fitted my pacemaker headers and cats as well as the new exhaust system to match. Although the was a lot of swearing and cursing it's all on with only a couple of minor parts left to sort.
I was a little surprised at the sound now. The wortec was loud whereas this is still quite loud but is a much more muted rumble perhaps similar to an AMG. Sounds epic to my ears.
Overall really pleased with it and a big big thanks to Richard for organising and to Neil for his advice today. I'll post up a video when I get round to doing one!

Thanks. I've got a video and will upload to youtube but was recorded on my phone so not great quality.
So more thoughts today, as the above post was written on my phone.
The Pacemaker kit is very good, very well made from what I can see. It came with all the parts needed including the gaskets between the head and the manifold as well as heat shields for steering rack (I now have a spare set though!). I got a full system as I thought it wouldn't match to the Wortec that I had on it, but it turns out that it would have mated up perfectly. Coincidence but does give me the option of using the Wortec if I don't sell it for any reason.
It was fairly straightforward to put the passenger side one in, but bloody hell the driver's side was a complete nightmare. Steering rack out, that meant undoing the feed and return pipes but although was seemingly easy, this was very awkward when the header was in place.
The drivers side chassis bracket needs cutting on the drivers side in order to fit.
Overall I'm very pleased. The Pacemaker system from the cat back is very different to the Wortec set up - the Wortec has a X pipe and you can change the mid silencers to have none at all and then another silencer at the back. The Pacemaker system has fixed silceners in the middle and a kink in one of the pipes towards the back of the car (not sure why this is as it now almost blocks the diff drain plug). The tail pipe can be changed to have silencers or no sileners - I've got it set to no silencers, as with them it would be too quiet. Not sure I'll ever need the silencers on the back. The tips are very well made and needed a weld to the back pipes, although the pipes needed to be trimmed by about 3/4 inch as they looked to stick out the back of the car a tad too much for my liking.
I'm very pleased as I've already said, considering the price I paid it was a great deal and very good value.

I initially thought this when i fitted my proflow headers (pacemaker copy"s i believe ) but i didn't give up . It would as you say be impossible to get it in after you have fitted the header to the engine, the trick is to get the bracket back in place once you have threaded the header into the engine bay but before you bolt the header to the engine. It was a bit of a juggling act but doable and looks a tight fit but I've had no issue's with anthing knocking.www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=14...
